Kite Festival

August 15th - 16th 2015

Southsea Common, Portsmouth

Over the two main days of the festival we will have a number of exciting and varied displays. The 2014 event included:

Synchronised multi line kite ballet to music with up to 12 fliers at one time.

Artistic kite displays

Giant cartoon kites

Very large spinning Bol kites

Quad line kite displays set to music

Japanese fighting kites.

Altitude sprint

Sweet and Teddy Bear dropping

Showcase of individual kite artists and fliers who are attending this year

.... And more.   The timetable for 2015 will be published when available.


On site will be a number of specialist kite traders, food traders, craft stalls, donkey rides, bar and children’s entertainment.  A free children’s kite workshop will also be on site.
