When is the Festival?

Dates for 2023 are July 29th & 30th and runs from 10am to approximately 5:30pm

The event is free and no tickets are required.

Well behaved dogs are welcome

Where is the Festival?

The kite festival is located on Southsea Common, Portsmouth. Follow the signs for the seafront.

Please note Portsmouth currently has a Clean Air Zone Class B covering parts of the City.  Class B covers buses, coaches, taxis, private hire vehicles and HGVs  Euro 6 or Euro 4.  You can check at https://www.gov.uk/clean-air-zones to see if you need to pay a charge

How to get here?

The nearest railway station is Portsmouth Harbour and the area is serviced by a number of local buses. An alternative is the Portsmouth Park and Ride service route PR3

Public car parking is available on roads around the common and, usually during the event on the common (normal fees apply).
